I LOVED IT
Thanks for all the questions about what to do with your time, how to make better choices.
And mahalo (thanks here in Kauai) for all the yelling you did about me shooting a “selfie video” while driving…
In the video and post we shared that TIME stands for:
And while I explained what that meant, the “earn” part, I mentioned we can’t manage time… that managing time is a colossal waste of time. We need to learn to manage ourselves, not time.
So cool so many of you asked about that… an MLM plan of action.
Let’s get right to it….
IS THAT SCREAMING I HEAR?
Yeah, yeah… the conference call thing, right?
You & Screaming Leaders: Did you do them?
Me: Yup. Every night.
You & Screaming Leaders:: Isn’t that a contradiction?
You & Screaming Leaders: Sure sounds like it’s a contradiction.
ME: Ask me what I did on those calls.
You & Screaming Leaders: OK Mark, what did you do on those calls?
My MLM Plan of Action
What I did on those conference calls was 3-way calls for people on my teams. Instead of telling, selling them on the company, the industry, etc, we dialed people for ourselves and others.
And… that’s it… instead of “telling” we showed them, live… no explaining what happened on the last call, no ego break. Just dialing.
That is a behavior, the critical behavior.
Want to guess what happened next?
Yup, our leaders “copied” the “critical” behavior.
Everybody knows goal without a plan is a fairy tale… so give yourself and your team that way to win.
Unfortunately, most people don’t know the difference between Objective, Strategy, and Tactics… and if we don’t know, we can’t build a real plan of action.
Objective: What they and you want (goals)
Strategy: A general plan to get it (using the MLM model, and your company’s payplan)
Tactics: What we do daily to deploy the strategy so we can obtain the objective.
OATS gives you, weekly, a simple way to help your teammates know what to do daily, focused of course on The Main Thing… that 1 critical behavior. And when everyone focuses on the 1 critical behavior, your team sponsors more people.
And if you and your teammates focus on that one critical behavior, daily… you’ll know something that will save you a ton of time and your groups hundreds of thousands of dollars… there are no secrets.
keep giving to keep growing
