Thought to honor America’s birthday coming up.  I’d like to write about independence.

Your independence from interference… so you can tap your greatness.

It’s within you right now to build a great network marketing business.

Greatness Is Already With You

Some people were a little disturbed about my last blog and why the average person can’t make it.

I guess they didn’t read the whole thing.

No, I am not back-tracking here.  The average person can easily succeed once they make a decision and stick by that decision…to not behave like the average person.

How do they do that?

The same way I did.  Realize that, just as Haanel points out on every page of The Master Key System and Hill illustrates in Think and Grow Rich in every chapter, there is easy access to the Sleeping Giant within all of us.

Change in thought creates change in action and by extension, different results.

Above all, get in your belly…I mean right down to the core of yourself… that there is NOTHING in network marketing that you cannot learn and master.

It’s not brain surgery and most people have been doing network marketing since we were 5 or 6 years old.

We’ve Been Doing Our Whole Life

Learning about a new pizza place or game from your friends at school and telling your Mom and Dad is network marketing.

Like any new career choice, we gotta learn some skills but none of the network marketing skills are difficult even for a 10-year-old.

It’s not rocket science or brain surgery.

The hard part for an average guy like me or The Fabulous Davene, my wife is changing our mind.

What do we change?

Change our mind about ourselves so the interference we create that blocks our greatness vanishes.

Excellent book by Alan Fine, You Already Know How to Be Great,  is a great wake up call.  A reminder that greatness is within all of us.

Fine's Book
Fine’s Book? So Fine

Alan Fine, correctly, points out ‘interference,’ not opportunity is the only issue to overcome.

A few folks I know who read it when I suggested it, got inspired to tackle Think and Grow Rich  Not to read, but to master so they would become masters of themselves and not slaves to their habits.

We’ve taught the Master Key Master Mind Alliance for years (don’t worry, this isn’t a pitch – over 150 on the waiting list for the 26-week course starting in Nov.2012).  At its core is learning how to change your mind and greatness, everything you need to be great is already in you.

Network marketing help, tips and success are all available free…so why don’t we follow through?

After all, everybody knows for things to change, we have to change.

What we really need to break free of…to really declare out independence…we must get rid of interference, which we cause.

Fine gives these 2 examples to identify ‘interference’

Eliminate Interference & Self Loathing Vanishes

You know that if you had a regular exercise program you’d have more energy and feel better. You’ve bought a variety of exercise equipment. You’ve tried a lot of different types of programs. Each time, you’ve lasted about three weeks. You ask yourself: “What’s the matter with me?”  Self-loathing and depression follow.

You’re not performing as well as you’d like. You’ve looked at a variety of approaches and made a promise to get going but the goals you are not fully engaged. You spend most of your days dealing with internal problems instead of external opportunities. You keep asking yourself: “How come I don’t follow through and raise my performance?”

4 Simple Things

1. Skill.

If we are going to make some money, we need to learn some skills…practice, apply and improve.

OK, we know that…but why don’t we do it?

I love Alan Fine’s 3 Fs because they work.  They really do.

Here’s my spin on Fine’s 3 Fs.

Have a great 4th, make it your independence day from your own forms of interference and tap the greatness within yourself.

About the Author

  • Great message Mark. When you have faith that this business is going to work it really does become a red hot exuberance that is reflected in your personality. Them becoming focused is so much easier! Peace and prosperity be with you.

  • I think you really hit a homerun with this post, “Simple Things”. Most people have a tendency to over complicate everything they do when it comes to building a business, and just create that interference.

Love the little twist you put on Alan Fine’s 3 f’s, brilliant stuff.

  • Great post Mark
You get right to the point. The 3 F’s Faith Fire And Focus. So simple. Why do we make it so hard. ’cause we’ve been brain washed time to get them toxic lessons out of our heads. And you teach it pure and simple.

    Enjoy the Journey

The only limits on what you can accomplish are the limits you place on your own imagination.
