There are no “secrets” to success

Everybody knows that with challenge comes change and in this video I’m going to challenge you.

See, I believe it’s a disservice to have a website that is to “help” network marketers and keep pumping out the drivel we see everywhere about how great the industry is and never challenge people …with the exception of asking them to spend money….this underhanded manipulation takes advantage of the inexperienced and the lazy…..you know, leading people to believe there are “secrets” and they can “buy” their success by spending $1000s on 1-3 day events…where they get up sold for into more “secrets” or systems.   Good grief.

Good friend, Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, challenged me one night many years ago about this.   We were out to dinner after a seminar he did for my team, about 2oo people, and I was ranting about the thousands of bucks people were wasting trying to “buy” success…..in his cute little way, he tipped his head to the side and said….”would you like to do something about it?”

Wifey, The Fabulous Davene, said, “Ut-oh” ….knowing I’d come up with some ideas but the work part would fall on her.

“Look,” Al told me, “you can’t stop people from hurting themselves but you can offer an alternative that they can use for free.”

I’m sharing this with you before you view this video because I’m going to challenge you in this video….to do something…anyone can do that doesn’t cost a dime…

The truth is there are only 2 types of networkers in the world…..who are in but not producing near their potential

 

DA RULES

2 means 2…every single day.

No phone number?   Doesn’t count.

Talk to 1 person a day….means if you call Harry and his wife answers and he’s not there….it does not count.

Talking to someone you’ve already pitched is fine…..but it doesn’t count.  New means new.

1 new a day.   Everyday.

It’s all about “habits”…..it’s not time, money, circumstances, sponsors, up-teams, companies, product or anything else…..that determines your outcome…..it’s all about “habits.”

Lombardi preached, “Winning is a habit, unfortunately, so is losing,” and it is true, without exception.

The interesting thing about “new habits” …which is what 2+1 is all about…is that they take about 3-6 weeks to establish as habits.

Can you think of a damn reason in the world why you or anyone on your team wouldn’t want those two habits established and reinforced over and over and over?

ONE MO RULE

So you get the 2 +1 …just one more rule.

Everyday means everyday.

For 30 days.

Anyone can do anything for 30 days.

And, like I said, the “effect” is so special, it will blow your mind….both numbers will increase.  Always do, always will.

Repetition is the mother of skill…with reps you’ll like yourself better and better …the feeling of a job well done buries the feeling of the promise “to do it tomorrow” and failing to do so.

The feeling of pressure on some days is quickly replaced with confidence.
